Comments We dived with Sunshine June 24-30 2012. While we didn't go to Cabo primarily to dive, Sunshine was a real find. The level of service was the best we've ever had from a shore-based operation. Their divemaster Ryan took personal charge of us, and did an outstanding job. Nitrox and a CD with pictures from our dives were included at no extra charge. Sunshine stored and cleaned our equipment for the week; they also transported it to the dive boats for us, and set it up for each dive. There was a hot shower in the dive shop for apres-dive. Everyone involved was pleasant and helpful, and very safety-conscious.

The water was quite cold (62-67 F) and we needed 7mm suits with hooded vests. Water clarity ranged from 40 feet to 100+ on one really outstanding dive. We were told the water gets much warmer in Oct-Nov. We saw lots of fish and eels, guitar fish and rays. No large pelagics, but we didn't go the day they visited Gordo Banks.

All in all, a great dive experience given the location. I wouldn't necessarily go to Cabo to dive, but if you want to scuba dive while you're there, look no further!
