Comments By far the best of 3 Aggressor cruises we have done. Diving off skiff was very easy and convenient. Staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The boat is showing its age, however. We had an "issue" but the crew were quick to respond to a problem that resulted in a strong sewage odor in our cabin. Everything was clean but wear is evident. Catamaran hull minimized rolling and wife's "sea-legs" were not an after-cruise issue this trip. Trip costs varied greatly among passengers and I felt penalized by booking early. I received special offers ($500 off) from Aggressor after booking, which I was denied when requested to have applied, which seemed a counterproductive marketing tool only serving to alienate. Nitrox at $100 per week per diver seemed onerous after initial high cost of trip and no additional cost to boat. Only 3 night dives were available for the week. Chef Shea performed a Herculean task daily turning out 3 great meals and 2 snacks a day while separately catering to a Kosher passenger seamlessly, even getting a couple of dives in. Diving was great and varied although our trip included no wreck dives, a negative for me. Staff celebrated milestone dives, a nice touch. While understandable for turnaround, it sucked that they throw you off the boat at 0800 hours on Sunday morning in to a small town with little to do and no hotels offering early check-in. Marine park fee of $210 and island escape tax of $50 are excessive.

The discount works both ways. Early bookers get choice of cabins (as on a cruise ship), while late bookers with a discount may be relegated to an upper berth.
