Comments Fantastic 10 day trip on the Rock Islands Aggressor. We came for the Bumphead parrotfish spawning and were rewarded with hundreds of amorous Bumpheads on the first dive. After that we saw lots Bumpheads on every dive. We also got to see the aggregation of Camouflage groupers- hundreds of big Groupers on certain divesites. There were large schools of Black and Midnight snapper, Barracudas and jacks, sharks and turtles. The coral was overall healthy and vibrant, fish life thriving. Due to a slow reopening of Asia there were virtually no other divers in sight- a refreshing change from my last visit!

I cannot say enough good things about the staff on the boat. They were exemplary in every way. They accommodated our slow and scattered diving style with good grace, putting 3 DMs in the water on every dive. The skiff picks you up where ever you happen to pop up. Our group had a variety of levels of experience, all were catered to. We also had a mix of dietary requests including vegan and gluten free- the chef was amazing and accommodated all needs with a delicious menu of freshly prepared foods, including his home made granola and yogurt.

Battery charging is on dive deck only, and they turn the power off to those outlets overnight.

Unique set up of skiff on hydraulic lift on back of boat. Walk in from dive deck, leave all your gear set up on skiff. Get lowered to water, zip off to divesite and backroll in. The lounge area is a bit tired- new sofas would be good. The rooms and bathrooms are quite large for a dive boat, the beds and linens very comfortable. Wine, beer and soda is provided.

I have never been on a boat where the staff got along so well, and everyone including the captain pitched in on all chores, including leading dives. Since Palau just dropped the COVID testing requirements I'm afraid things may start getting busy there again soon- so go now if you possibly can!
