Comments Aggressor Palau is a professional operation, great crew, food, nice cabins. Diving was from a 30 ft boat hoisted up onto the back of the liveaboard. Only drawback to the launch was that we spent a lot of time in it going to and from the liveaboard which was moored in a protected cove. Older divers like myself got a little tired because launch time to and from meant there wasn't as much down time to rest between dives. On the other hand the launch allowed almost exclusively drift dives.

We had a wild ride at Peleliu Corner. I thought that the divemasters should have predicted the extremely fast current that swept us up and over the corner and down a deep downdraft on the far end. We ended up spread over a quarter mile area. The boat provided us all with long safety sausages and on that dive they were essential in the large swells that we surfaced into.

Aside from this one lapse, I would recommend Palau Aggressor as a first class operation and thought that diving in Palau was superb. I also recommend spending time on the island to get a feeling for the culture. We arrived a day early and did limited sightseeing. The Palau Museum is well worth visiting.
