Comments Palau has some of the best large fish populations I've seen: 20-30 grey reef sharks on every dive, tuna and mackerel cruise the walls, large schools of trevally and snapper, Napoleon wrasse & bumphead parrots too. Manta dives always had mantas. The crew know their sites and get you to the right places at the right time for good encounters and currents without running into day boats.

The boat is comfortable and well run. Some in our group complained about thinness of mattresses, though they didn't bother me. The buffet meals always had a good variety including sashimi with most dinners. The vegetarians in our group were well served as well.

UW Photo Comments Ample camera room table space was in walk-through area from salon to dive deck, so non-photographers set things there too, leading to crowding and concern for protecting opened housings.
