Comments This was my third time in Palau and first time with Fish'n'fins. There was no availability on liveaboards for the period we wanted to travel (Christmas/New Year) for our party of four. Given my past experience, I was weary of the limits of day-boat diving during the peak season. I was particularly concerned about being limited to the typical 'two outside reef dives + optional Chandelier Cave dive' template. Navot Bornovski, who together with his wife Tovah owns the operation took the trouble to address my concerns by email before we arrived. During our stay, Navot made a point of calling each evening to enquire how satisfied we were and where we wanted to go on the next day. After a couple of days, we were effectively assigned our own boat, with a couple of like-minded divers we met there. Boat driver Silas and Dive Guide Clint were both excellent and delivered superb diving. In six days we were able to return to the best sites: Blue Corner and Ulong Channel on a few occasions. We also had excellent dives in Peleliu Cut and Express and at German Channel. I was very pleased with our experience and highly impressed with Navot's willingness to accomodate our requirements during the peak season.
In previous visits I stayed at the excellent Palau Pacific Resort. This time we chose Caroline's Resort which is more rustic but offers beautiful views in addition to complimentary access to the PPR's facilities. Highly recommended.
