Comments Similar to what others have posted, Manta Ray Bay Resort and Yap Divers are amazing. The whole setup of the resort is designed to make the diving easy from the lockers right off the dock to the camera cabinets and charging station. While we came primarily to see Mantas we were also very impressed with the rest of the diving. Vertigo is up there with some of the best walls we have done. The dive masters are helpful but allow you do your own thing. The boats were fast and comfortable with the only negative being no camera storage on board however after asking a camera bucket was put on the boat. They are also extremely flexible. We wanted to do another Manta dive the day we left and they took us out early for a one tank dive as we were flying that night.
The resort was fantastic, the rooms large and very comfortable. The upgrade with the private rooftop hot tub was very nice. The staff were very friendly and knew all our names after the first day. The resorts island tour was also very impressive and a great way to see the island, learn the history of Yap, and get realistic view of life on Yap from a Local Guide.
The restaurant was unique being a actual Chinese Ship. The food was very good but the selection was limited. All in all I would Highly Recommend Yap and Manta Ray Bay Resort and cannot wait to go back.
