Comments The absolute best thing about the trip was being and diving with a group of friends, all very well-trained technical divers, who came together from around the world to dive Truk Lagoon and Palau. Our trip leader selected Sam's Tours for the Palau portion and Odyssey Adventures for Truk. The tour arranger, World of Diving, has us all meet in Guam and inflicted Untied Airlines on us. Three times we had to transit that mess at Guam airport. Never again!

Captain and crew were great, highly competent and interested in making our stay perfect. The equipment and state of the boat were excellent. The cook was surprised that I was vegan, even though I had notified the company and the boat. That said, she did a masterful and caring job of providing tasty and nutritious meals, checking with me often to make sure I was pleased.

The Captain is a historical researcher and provide expert briefings for each wreck, both educational and enteraining. The dive guides were also top-notch. Several of the wrecks required guides to find the most interesting sites. If a dive team was not dong deep penetration, it was free to explore without a guide. Overall, a super experience for the wreck -diving junkie. The Captain also coordinated well with other boats so that we could visit each wreck without other boats in the area. Great job!
