Comments The staff at the dive shop were all excellent. Very helpful and accommodating. The diving itself was a bit disappointing. The boat was an oversized zodiac that was crowded and allowed little room for sitting or moving around. I rented all of the equipment except for my mask and dive computer. I was given a 3 mil vest and a 5 mil dive suit and then around 20 pounds of weight. Very restricting and uncomfortable and I was over weighted. This made bouyancy control very challenging. (I am an experienced diver with almost 800 dives so I know about bouyancy control.) The fish life was mostly small critters, a few groupers, one or two starfish, and lots of seagrasses. Not at all like that which was described in the November, 2018, issue of Scuba Diving - an article on diving in Sardinia. The manager noted that the day I dove the winds were rather strong and acknowledged that the diving was less than ideal. If one is going to Italy and has the time and inclination, diving in Sardegna (Sardinia) is probably worth considering. But it may be underwhelming.
