Comments We liked Walindi very much. Staff is friendly, food tasty and plentiful. The rooms were large and bed comfortable. Note, there is no air conditioning but we didn't need it. Electricity in turned off during the night but fans and emergency lighting is provided via battery system.

While the diving is great and the staff wonderful the boats are not very comfortable. Diving choice is either a full day three tank trip or a two tank morning trip. Snorkelers and divers are on same boat and it was cramped most to the time when everyone was looking for shade. Trips to sites were often well over an hour. One dive that you can do out of Walindi that you cannot do on the liveaboard is the Zero wreck.

We will go back to Walindi but probably avoid diving and save diving for liveaboard. There are other activities at the resort besides diving such as hiking and visiting WW II plane wrecks and the Kimbe market.

UW Photo Comments Rinse bucket was usually emptied after the long trips to the dive sight and snorkelers and divers used bucket for masks and sometimes fins. No facilities at resort but the rooms were large with plenty of plugs so you could charge batteries and work on camera equipment
