Comments A small (6 rooms)intimate resort about 30 minutes south of Dumaguete run by Sean Stone and his wife. It is directly across from Apo Island (about 30 minute boat ride). They served great food and the rooms were well thought out and very comfortable and had free wifi.
Anna ran the dive operation very efficiently and was very friendly and had good advice on what to do and where to go. One of the great things about a small resort like this one is that my dive buddy and I often had the boat to ourselves.
Our divemaster was usually Esmael who knew each site intimately and always found us the good stuff, large, small and tiny. The shoreline from the resort northerly to Dumaguete has numerous sites with great muck diving. Apo island has corals and many wonderful tropical fish. We also took a day trip to Oslob to dive with the whale sharks.
Overall, it was a great experience and a wonderful resort and I would recommend it to anyone who likes quiet and great diving.

Concur with all William mentioned above- Great operation, staff, facilities and food. Very welcoming and restful. A couple of additional notes for divers that we experienced and Sean's wife shared with us: 1) They have several pets and rescues at the resort that will hang around the pool and dinner area (cats and dogs) 2) The resort, like many in the Dauin/Zamboanguita area there are not other night spots/restaurants close by, it is really an eat, sleep, and dive place- not an issue for most UC subscribers but she mentioned it often is a complaint of other guests. 3) Since they are close to Apo and it offers great snorkeling there they do have many groups go. They will prioritize the divers for best locations but something to be aware of. Many of their trips are to Apo so on those days it is shore diving the awesome house reef or they will secure another boat with a minimum number of divers (4 I think) Esmael is a terrific spotter!

Found out from the owners that they will do coastal diving with 2 divers as long as it is 3 dives
