Comments Our dive club spent a week at this resort on the island of Negros, one hour flight from Manila, in April 2022. Philippines required all entrants to be boosted and to present negative COVID test to enter the country. We flew SFO-NAR-MNL-DUM. Airport shops, restaurants and airline clubs are opening gradually.

The resort is fully opened and running well. The staff was uniformly amazing, and the facilities were fully functioning. Dining room food was very good -even perhaps a bit too fancy and rich for a week of eating. Staff was accommodating with dietary requests, even putting together the fixings for a PB and J sandwich when we asked for something simple. Beautiful beach-front location. The house reef is 15 second boat ride from shore. Sites near the resort combine muck and reef diving, including artificial reefs, teeming with fish, which are now marine protected areas. Dive operations run like a clock with the dive staff eager to help out and move things along. Nearby Apo Island (45 min boat ride run by the resort) is full of beautiful corals (we visited twice on 1/2 day excursion, which includes lunch on the boat). Highly recommended. Minor, but noticeable, current on some dives. Minor thermoclines - I dove 3 min plus vest. Resort includes tropical plantings, a pool with waterfall and full spa.
