Comments The bad: 26 or 27 deg. C is still cold with a 3 mm wetsuit in April; the bad news is that the Sabang Inn was upgraded or modernized; so there is an increase in cost ( 1500 peso/ night with 15% discount for 9 nights stay); the rooms were mostly sold out most of the 9 nights I stayed; the mgr. still tried to find lodging for sold-out customers.
The GOOD: now there are 3 dive masters ( Mark died of a heart attack at age of 24 on 4/24/'15 ; they know where to dive if the current is too strong; they are quite good at finding octopus, turtles, eels, banded snakes, frog fishes, nudibranchs, etc.; in fact, there seems to be a nudibranch heaven. There are divers from England, China, Australia, Germany and Holland. That leads to discussions of good dive destinations. But, I did have 2 days where it was just me and the DM. ( 11 dives for 10,000 peso; ~44 peso/ 1 USD)
The food at many cafes were usually cheap costing a few dollars up to 1019 peso at highly rated Steakhouse ( which had very tasty beef). A local, Fred, said that April is low season. So, there were not crowded dive sites.
