Comments Tubbataha was highly over rated; the first 2 days had mostly brown reefs, sand, some grass, and usual tropical fishes; it was sorta expensive ($1406 for standard cabin including $75 for marine park fee) for 4 days of diving; 10 hrs. for ship to travel to Tubbataha; last 2 days had up to 4 dives per day but you could do up to 5 dives the first 2 days; for me, the only unusual creature was the Marble ray; the food was plenty and tasted very good; the crew was very polite and helpful and well organized by Vanny; Gigi the divemaster was cute;Gugs the other divemaster pointed out only a few creatures; the 2 French guys kept mostly to themselves; the 3 Germans were socialable; the 6 Australians were sorta lively (Jan I. was very nice); the Hong Kong and Singapore divers( Jenny had good information on SE Asia diving) were ok; the diving was NOT all that fantastic as claimed by filippino dive masters; my German roomate made a total of 3 trips to Tubbataha--less sharks and rays this trip.
