Comments I am a retired PADI dive instructor and film maker. The diving at Padre Burgos rates in my top three dive sites thus far. I am not usually into macro photography but I am hooked after diving here .... incredible variety of corals and tropical fish, nudibranchs, sea snakes, scorpion fish, turtles and the most anemones and clown fish I have ever seen. We had a encounter with whale shark on our first dive.
There was a little current on a few dives but nothing concerning. Dive sites very close in the boat so 2 dives before lunch very easy. Unfortunately no nitrox but that could have changed since we were there.
Interesting night dive (muck dive) .
Dive boat only accommodates 5-6 divers so very easy. We were the only divers at the resort so only 3-4 of us diving at any one time and NO other dive boats except on one occasion in 2 weeks. Because we were the only divers we had incredible freedom on our dives so dive master cruised with us and no pressure.
The resort is extremely comfortable and relaxing. A nice swimming pool and private beach. Delia (wife) does all the cooking and she is fantastic ... she would ask us most days what we would like and cook up some amazing dishes (Asian style). David (husband) often accompanied us on dives and was very helpful in organising our ferry transfers etc.
Great value for money ... absolutely will do this again.
All staff very friendly and helpful.

UW Photo Comments Boat not large so with 5-6 divers on board you need to be mindful of you camera gear. No rinse tubs on board but dive sites only 1/2 hr - 3/4 hr away. Good tubs at dive hut on your return.
