Comments We had a previous guide arrange the diving for us. He hired the boat and the attendants. We did it because we wanted to stay at Vivere Azure because it is more luxurious than other resorts. The accommodation are very nice for the Philippines. Sadly, I have to say I'd never recommend them. We reluctantly gave them a 500.00 deposit to be held for 30 to 60 days with the promise of being refunded. It has not been and I'm still fighting it. They took a credit card and I think the money is to cover the fees for it. In any case, it's dishonest and we've never had this happen before in Anilao. We had the entire family, including our 9 year old granddaughter. We hired a friend of our guide, Edwin, to take her snorkeling while we dove. Everything ran smoothly with the diving, boat and timing. There were so many macro subjects as usual. We didn't find the blue ringed octopus this time, sadly. In fact, I was wondering if the people are eating the octopuses as there were so few. COVID has devastated the people. They were poor before, but now!!! The country was closed for so long. The need for food is great and the water and fish are there and now gone. Everyone had a great time and all went well.

UW Photo Comments Edwin took care of our equipment and made sure it was properly cleaned. There had been a dive shop at the resort but it closed because of COVID. the young man that was there was so helpful. They had rinse tanks. The rooms had adequate places to put the cameras.
