Comments Second trip to Puerto Galera.
Took Phillipines Airlines 14.5 pleasant hours from LAX to Manila, I wouldnt fly that long with any other carrier.
We were picked up at the airport, car ride to Batangas 40 minutes. Speedboat ride right to the resort about 30 minutes.
We were met as we landed. The best part started right then and lasted until we left a week later.
Between arrival and departure, everything was excellent or better. The entire staff was amazing for the entire time we were there. When they say "Mabuhay!", they mean it.
We were in a penthouse room. Larger than most. But the farthest walk. Some stairs are pretty steep.
I'm really glad they hauled our bags to the room. It was hot, I was tired and it was a bit of a haul up 2 floors and 4 buildings away.
The bed was very comfortable. Spotless soft sheets.
The shower was very large and the showerhead was at 7 feet. AA+ in my book. Plenty of hot water. Soap/shampoo dispensers on the wall and the drain never backed up.
The AC worked fine. The outlets were of the "fits all" variety.
