Comments [None]Comparable or better diving to Palau and Sipadin: Variety of species, size of species, huge schools of fish on every dive...all the colors of the rainbow for fish and corals, soft and hard. Lisa and her solomon islander dive guides are first rate and extremely knowledgeable. For those who remmember Dive Makai in Kona, Lisa (with Tom Shockley) is the former owner/operator. She knows more about fish behavior and the marine environment than anyone I know. She and her staff run a 3 room guesthouse in Marova Lagoon which is fairly basic but comfortable with 3 good/hearty meals provided daily. Solomon Island Dive Adventures caters to individuals and small groups of divers. Check the website for more information. For those interested in diving on the Bilikiki, this would be an excellent add on for a land based operation which is perhaps 15 minutes from virgin dive sites which includes wall and shallow reefs. Frequently, there is too much to see at one time.

Only downside is that it is time consuming to get there from the US and it is a remote location.
