Comments Quite a lot of people doing try dives, DSD and OW, but kept more or less separate from more experienced divers. Two RIBs with ladders. Very good equipment and systems, well organised. The diving is interesting, in a marine reserve, with lovely topography..lots of arches, caverns, big slabs of rock, some wrecks and the light and colour is amazing. Main fish are big grouper, shoals of barracuda (in every arch!), bream, scorpionfish etc, and loads of flabellina, morays, crabs and octopus. Lots of small fish too. Some anchors, cannons and amphorae reflecting the island history.
We did 50-70 minute dives each time, returning to Fornells after each dive. Two dives are offered in the morning and one in the afternoon. Briefings are in Spanish, English and French and are thorough, specially for getting back on the boat. There are two owners and two or three dive guides, depending on the season.
There are showers but no private changing facilities which is a downside, though shy people can find a dark corner or the toilet!
They aren’t great at responding to emails so it’s best to phone or call in. They will fit you in if it is at all possible. The main problem is when the Tramontana wind blows, the waves become mountainous and boats stay in harbour, but Fornells is a very pretty village with great restaurants. Fortunately this isn’t a frequent occurrence.

UW Photo Comments Few UWP. Not much room on RIB so I had my own camera bag. Camera was handed in and out of water, and handled carefully most of the time. No facilities for photographers except communal table also used for courses. Some very nice opportunities for photography...barracuda pose so well and are so abundant, Mediterranean light and the topography are fabulous.
