Comments Air temp was 66 degrees and the water was 61, which for a Caribbean diver was very cold. Very organised operation. Cost was 47 Euros which included everything for one dive. Apparently because of restrictions in the Medes Islands reserve, only a limited number of divers are allowed per day. Choice of dive sites is also controlled. First dive was at 11:00 am and a second was availble at 15:00. Due to time constraints (and cold) we only did the morning dive.

Briefing was very complete. Divers loaded everything into plastic bins, which were loaded on a truck and taken to the boat. Divers walked down the dock to the boat and then loaded their gear and their tank on the boat. Crew did not assemble or dis-assemble the gear, but if asked I am sure they would have helped. Boat had an ELEVATOR at the stern, at the end of the dive, you swim up and stand on the platform and get hoisted up to the deck. Very cool.

Water was murky and vis was limited. Rain the previous night was blamed for the poor vis. Saw a number of large groupers. Other fish I am not familiar with were abundant. No rays or lobsters were seen. A good dive, probably better in warm weather.
