Comments Variety of diving was very good; nice wrecks, walls, heads and lava flows. Golden Rock did a nice job, were very helpful and let us dive our profile. Lisa (Dive Master) was terrific. There were lots of tropicals and a good variety of macro stuff. There was no real big stuff but the diving was easy and enjoyable. Flying Gurnards were interesting plus there were spotted drums, jack knifes and variety of eels. At Aquarium we came across a Spotted Snake Eel - fantastic!

The boats were comfortable. That was especially true for the new catamaran they are running. There was plenty of room and never more than six divers on the boat. Nitrox was avaiable and can help out with bottom time as they let you dive your tank.

The Old Gin House was comfortable. We stayed in one of the ocean front rooms which was quite nice with a large bathroom and balcony overlooking the bay. Chef Marc had just started the day before we arrived but he did a very nice job. We also ate at the Blue Bead down the street a little way. The daily homemade pastries there were great!

Statia is as good as any where I've been in the Caribbean for relaxed enjoyable diving. Michelle and Glenn do anything to make your stay enjoyable. The island is very laid back. Great place if you just want to relax and dive.
