Comments Golden Rock Divers operation was excellent. Very accomodating on where we wanted to dive and at what times.
The group set the dive times and dive location. We all decided on a 9:00 morning dive and a 2:00 afternoon dive.
The operators, Glenn and Michelle, were very friendly and knowledgeable. The Dive Masters, Benji and Annouke,
were extremely capable and very good with the new divers in the group. All were very knowledgeable of the area
and could usually take you to a site where you could find whatever critter you were might be looking for.
They did not hurry through the dive and were very patient for the photographers. The dive boat was large enough
to accommodate the usual 6 divers without feeling crowded.
The dive operation owners and staff even went out with the group for dinner and drinks several nights.
Great operation to deal with and would recommend them highly.
There was plenty for my non-diving wife to do on the island and she did not get bored while I was diving.

The Old Gin House was newly renovated and comfortable. Rooms were clean and maid service available daily.
The pool, although small, was a welcome dip between dives.
The restaurant on premisis is very good and has a 4 star chef. Be warned that the prices are not in
Guilders but US Dollars. Dinner was about $40 each not 45 Guilders (1 Guilder = $1.80 US)!
There were several good places to eat on the island and one place in particulay, Smoke Alley, made GREAT
desserts.
It should be noted that the eating establishments on the island run on "Island Time" so be patient.

Overall rating for UWP's 4 stars Shore Facilities 4 stars
UW Photo Comments A shady spot on the boat was provided for cameras and a rinse tank provided on shore. Since
boat trips were typically 15 - 20 minutes the lack of a tank on board was not a problem.
