Comments	The dive operation at Golden Rock has only been in operation for less than a year and they are building the business. Consequently, there are some growing pains. They just started using a new boat that was not designed for diving but they are trying to make it work. For example, the tank holders on the boat are very deep and requires someone to stand on the bench and lift the tank up and onto the bench before you can put the tanks on. The staff is great and I believe that they will work these things out but it will take some time. The dives themselves were very regimented. Dive times were limited to 45 mins and they wanted everyone to come up as a group. This was very disappointing for those of us with plenty of air left and it caused a traffic jam trying to get back on the boat. The ride from the resort to the harbor every morning is about 20 minutes on bumpy dirt roads. The harbor is controlled by the customs office and doesn't open until 9a so there is no chance to start diving any earlier than that. Once the two dives are completed, they bring you back to the resort which was always about 2p and you have to get lunch quick because lunch is over at 2p We were never offered a chance for any afternoon or night dives. I think that this resort could be very good in the future but it's not ready for prime time yet.
