Comments We booked a St Kitts and Saba trip on the Caribbean Explorer II with Explorer Ventures.

We arrived at the St Kitts airport mid-afternoon on Saturday via an American Airlines flight. Our original plan was to arrive on Friday and overnight in a hotel with friends that we were meeting for the trip. Unfortunately Air Canada canceled our flight and didn't notify us! Good thing I checked the Departures. Thankfully we were able to get flights for the next day and still arrive on time. We were met outside the airport by a driver for a quick trip to the dock. Along the way the driver talked about the town and pointed out a few highlights. The town appeared to be tidy and prosperous. At the dock our bags were quickly loaded by the captain and divemasters. We then went up to the lounge/dining area to meet the other guests. There were ten divers, eight Americans and two Canadians.

Thank you Catherine. I’m diving Nevis in May, land-based, on a REEF Field Survey Team. We will count and record the species we see and their abundance.
