Comments	My family went to St Maarten / Dutch side for spring break with the kids,9 and 12 years old. My son did his open water referral dives for his open water certification. The dive conditions were perfect for that. The first 2 shore dives were perfect for the beginning diver. Good water visability, little current and a sunken helicopter and submarine in 25-30 ft of water.The boat dives were good although the water a little rough. Eagle rays were seen on almost every dive. Irene was the divemaster who completed my son's training and she was very good with children and thorough. She was doing open water certification for 3 teenagers while we were there. The people that worked for the dive operation had great attitudes and were very pleasant. The attitudes and helpfulness of the resort personnel was not always as good. Some were excellent. Others would watch guests struggle with things such as luggage and not offer or lift a finger to help. Also you you have the option to have your room stocked with groceries when you arrive. This task was not carried out by the third day we were there and I cancelled the order. The accomodations were very suitable and all rooms had water views.
