Comments Had a dive and accommodation package. Stayed at Fitness Quest above the fitness center in corner apartment. The Fitness Quest apartments are on a hill just above the main island road with a nice view over to Young Island and refreshing breezes. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. The apartments are a 7 minute walk to the dive shop first along a quiet lane then down to and along the beach, so one did not have to walk along the main road. Stephen the manager at the gym downstairs was very friendly and helpful with any information we needed. The only negative with the location was the road traffic which prevents one from keeping the windows open and using the ceiling fan when sleeping, so instead we ran the A/C (included in rate), even though it was not required, as the temperature cooled down pleasantly at night.

Dove mostly with Calvin who regularly pointed out small and hard to see small creatures like frogfish, seahorses, several blue fin jawfish, slender filefish, lots of arrow crabs, and lobster. Very good condition soft corals. Mostly smaller fish, no large ones. Dove with Don a couple times, who was not as diligent in pointing out creatures leaving you to look around on your own. Never saw Bill, DMs said he only goes out with photographers and we had none. However, we know Bill exists as he responded quickly to emails when we were organizing the trip. Usually 4 or 5 people on the boat per dive which provided enough room on the boat.

Rented a car for a few days and took a few afternoon drives after diving. The Salt Ponds on Windward side and the Montreal Gardens were well worth seeing.
