Comments Getting to the Caribbean from the West Coast is a trek. A red-eye from Northern California to Miami, Miami to Provo, Provo to Grand Turk arriving by late afternoon. Bohio is right on a lovely beach, is a relatively small resort, which is why we chose it. We had a food package that included.breakfast & lunch, but not dinner. Food is wonderful but pricey. We did go to town one night for dinner, but needed a cab which adds to the total. Bohio is definitely a gathering spot for locals which posed no issues. As far as diving goes, short boat rides, most we had on a six-pack type boat was seven one day. Most days we had 4 or 6. The captain Jesse was also our Dive Master, which made me a bit uncomfortable at first. There is no camera table given the size of the boat. The diving was very nice, though there was definite damage to hard corals at shallow depths from Hurricane Ike. Nice swim throughs, lots so turtles, & one small nurse shark on our first dive, an octopus on another. We also saw eagle rays on more than one dive. We saw one group of four near the southern tip of the island. There's also a nice deep dive at the northern end. We did an island tour one afternoon to the lighthouse & around the island. Otherwise dives were after breakfast & before lunch. You can add-on an afternoon dive, which we did one day. We also walked to town one afternoon to shop.

Enforced diving restrictions We stuck together as a group, but stayed down as long as we had an adequate air supply. If someone ran low Jesse would return to the boat with that person.

UW Photo Comments There really is no set-up for photographers. We took care of ours back in our room as surface intervals were at the resort.
