Comments East Bay Resort, South Caicos, Turks and Caicos Islands, British West Indies

I was fortunate to spend five weeks on South Caicos in 1980 and this was my first trip back. It was fascinating, nostalgic, and tragic all in one trip.

We stayed at the only dive operation currently operating on the island, East Bay Resort. The facilities were very nice with clean rooms, balconies, and air conditioning. Rooms included washer/driers although mine was inoperable and others from my group found the same thing. This was a minor inconvenience because we were only there a week and shorts and T-shirts were the norm.
