Comments Terrific week diving with my 16-year-old son, a relatively new diver. Excellent conditions and visibility, with essentially zero current, made this a great first liveaboard trip for him, as I had hoped. He got his AOW while on board. Sea life was abundant and reefs were healthy. Numerous reef sharks showed up at the first part of literally every dive, making me wonder if they now associate dive boats with food. T&C Explorer environmental practices, at least, were rock solid. Very photo-friendly boat and as a newbie UW photographer I got a ton of good tips from the photo-obsessed crew. Saw a plethora of really tiny critters and crabs, both favorites of mine. Unfortunately we were unable to make the crossing to French Key due to sea conditions; just another reason to go back. My decidedly amateur video here: [youtu.be link]

UW Photo Comments These guys, from the captain on down, take underwater photography very seriously and are always ready to offer assistance and tips. Worked out perfectly for me as I've recently moved from a GoPro to a more dedicated UW camera.
