Comments I dove with Flamingo Divers for 3 days in June. All 3 days were at sites at West Caicos which is about a 45 minute boat ride from Provo. Reef sharks were seen every day. Also common as were lots of larger fish such as grouper, jacks and snapper that I don't seem to see in other places. There are also lots of smaller tropicals and the walls are in pretty good shape. Flamingo divers is an excellent, small, operation. Their boat holds 6 divers max. On the first 2 days, we only had 4 divers on the boat. I was given plenty of freedom to dive my own profile as long as I surfaced with 500 psi. Tank set up, swapping, and equipment washing was done for me. Mickey and Jayne, who run the operation, are professional, curteous, and will do anything to make sure that you have a good time. Jayne even offered to make a stop for us at the supermarket or store on the ride back to my resort which was above and beyond what they need to do. I liked their operation so much, I have decided to return this November and have already booked with them. The resort that we stayed at was the Royal West Indies. It is a good, mid-priced resort, with a good, on site restaurant, the Mango Reef. The rooms are up to date, clean, and comfortable. They are situated right on Grace bay beach. We never had trouble getting a chair with an umbrella for shade.
