Comments It is a bit of an effort to get here from St John, requires ferry rides to/from and a short 10 minute walk but well worth the effort. Staff is friendly and Don, one of the owners has greeted me by name every time since the first dive. Dive site are varied, as opposed to operators on St John. Boat is clean and not over crowded. Max is 8 divers plus 2 dive masters and the driver. Boat (Fools Gold) has current inspections and carries all a=safety gear including O2. At the time masks were required until boat unties and then are optional.

UW Photo Comments No dedicated photo storage, single water bucket to acclimate cameras, not shared with masks. Will hand camera up/down as needed. Corals are typical of the area and not a good as in the past, including lots of damage from back to back hurricanes. Some areas are great to shoot large schools while many opportunities to closeup shots.

I found Red Hook to be VERY restrictive. 50ft depth w 40/45 min intervals and on 1 dive it was a 30 min dive. Always came up with half a tank or more and forget it if you want to take pics cause the group leader won't wait.
