The Apple Ultra Watch running the Oceanic Dive Computer app is, in my opinion, a highly viable supplement to your current diving computer.

As a PADI-certified Divemaster, I have nearly 900 computer-assisted dives, beginning with the Orca Edge up to today's configuration of Dual ScubaPro G2s (one hosed and one wireless wrist monitor). This diver believes that redundancy can/will save your life. My wife and I both dive with dual dive computers.

Setup is easy as downloading the Oceanic app from the App store. I bought the one-month subscription for $10. It took almost a day for my watch and phone to sync up with this prodigious app, but the next day, all was well. Oceanic tech support answered my email support questions almost immediately....
