Comments Aldora Divers was great for our group of 6 experienced divers. Had our own boat and could dive our own profiles. All dives over 60 minutes. First morning dive boat left at 7:30. Stopped along shore after first dive for early lunch then back out for second dive. Two long dives and back by 1:00. A great way to get in long dives and then relax for the rest of the day. Had the option for afternoon dives and night dives but passed to relax.
Aldora took decent care of our dive equipment. Very helpful on the boat and during dives. Aldora provided hi pressure steel 120's or 100's that were always filled to 3500 psi. Divemaster Sherief pointed out critters. Sherief did a good job of planning the long dives for our group.
Plenty of current at the extreme ends of the island. Minor current along the middle of the island. The sponge and coral growth was better than expected. I assumed there would be more damage from past hurricanes.
Villa Aldora owner Dave has a great set up for experienced divers looking to enjoy the dives and then relax. Dinners in town were good. Dave and staff provided recommendations that did not disappoint. Would recommed this operation.
