Comments We dive with Aldora every time we come to Cozumel. We've been with several other dive ops on the island in the past, but now always choose Aldora. They have a number of groups, and work to put divers with similar skill and interests on the same boat. They also try to keep the same divemaster with the same group.
Almendra. our divemaster, dove with us every day, with the exception of a couple afternoon and evening dives. She was amazing at finding small critters. I was amazed that after years of diving in Cozumel, she showed us things we had never seen before. I didn't know there were nudibranchs in Cozumel! She found a number of painted elysia. She knew a perfect spot (I call it balcony seating) over the edge of the wall to view the eagle rays. And, she found the perfect spot to hang out with the bull sharks. Almendra is a great divemaster. She made sure we saw everything she found, even though we were lagging, taking pictures. Her delight and enthusiasm about the underwater world were obvious, and we had so much fun on each dive.

Aldora is committed to customer service. Memo (the co-owner) made sure we were happy, and even helped my husband arrange a massage. The office staff and the boat captains (thanks, Angel) were kind and helpful. We couldn't have imagined a more wonderful vacation. We can't wait to go back.

UW Photo Comments The Aldora boats are small and fast. We are never more than a few minutes away from the dive sites or surface interval. Sometimes there were rinse buckets for cameras. It didn't really seem necessary, but nice. If I asked, I am sure they would have always have them. They always did everything to meet our needs.
