Comments Aldora Divers went beyond expectations for all dives. They adjusted pick up times for when the weather closed the harbor (vs. cancelling the dive altogether.) They accommodated requested dive sites and dove as long as we stayed out of deco and had 1000 psi. Did I mention how long the dives were?! The DM's were very helpful in pointing out special sightings and of known locations of fish & crustacean.
I took a Refresher course and finished my AOW as well and finished the week with regular dives - 6 days total diving. They have a pool at Villa Aldora and a convenient stairway into to the ocean for the Refresher course. They also pick up at the Villa for regular dives. Overall I regained my sea legs so to speak and had a fantastic week of diving.
The water was great visibility. We saw a school of young nurse sharks. We couldn't agree whether there were 9 or 12! We saw eagle rays on a couple days, turtles as well as HUGE moray eels, crabs and lots of barracuda.
Cozumel is famous for it's drift diving. It is just a matter of how fast the drift was on each dive. Lots of wall diving. I will be back.
