Comments	The best thing about Aldora is that you regularly have a dive approaching 70 minutes. We have had dives up to 100 minutes. Aldora offers the least cost per minute underwater. The tropical fish are large for their species and their variety is great. Unfortunately, there is a fair bit of coral bleaching, and occasionally one or two reefs (out of about 100) can be closed for a week or two. Aldora is located in the tourist center of San Miguel and easily accessible by 20 minute walk from villas in the residential section. Their boat will pick divers up from the major hotels along the beach. We were diving two to three times per week on average and could call the dive shop the previous day and were accommodated with a place on board. For photographers, this is drift diving, so shooting small critters is a special challenge as you have to get behind a coral head in the lee of the current - you do not have much time as you have to stay with the group. At additional cost, we hired our own U/W divemaster for our dives: so we were not restricted to keeping up with a group. We could drop behind a coral head out of the current for 10 or 15 minutes and shoot nothing but small critters in calm water. Out on the sand, we could stay with a squadron of eagle rays for as long as we could keep up. Aldora is highly conscious of potential reef damage from divers, and enforces a policy of not touching the reef with hands, fins, etc.

Enforced diving restrictions	It is required to stay within sight of the U/W divemaster because surfacing is done at the end of the drift dive in among other boat traffic. The guide has the necessary training and experience to do this safely and call the dive boat to retrieve the divers. For more freedom, you hire your own DM.

UW Photo Comments	Rinse water is available on board boats for both masks and cameras in separate buckets or barrels. Although there is no special place to store cameras on board, they can be safely stored under your seat, on the central console, up with the life preservers, or even in the rinse barrel.
