Comments I dove three days with Aldora Divers and stayed at the Aldora Villa. This was my first time at the Villa, and we loved it. My wife could relax there or walk to town. We have stayed at other hotels and in all cases, we had to take a taxi to get into town. Not a big deal, but being able to walk to town was a nice plus. Brent, the manager of the Villa is a gem. Friendly and extremely helpful. It was like staying with good friends.

The first two days diving with Aldora were excellent. We were diving with steel 120 tanks. As a result the dive time was around 90 minutes. This means that a wetsuit is a good idea since you do loose heat over that length of time. Another consequence is that you do not need much weight. I went from 12 pounds to 2 pounds.

We had a Norte on the third day so we went to the east side of the island. Not the best dives ever, but it was good that we were able to dive at on that day. As far as I know Aldora is the only dive operation that was operating on that day, so they get extra points on this.

So, why dive with Aldora?

- Small groups. The max was about 6.
- Excellent divemasters. Edgar and LeYang (spelling?) were first-rate.
- Bottom time. About 90 minutes. This makes the price/hour an excellent value.
- Fast boats.
- Staff. Helpful and a lot of fun; Memo is a blast.

One other item worth mentioning: The restaurants in Cozumel keep getting better. In particular, Kinta and La Cocay are first-rate. Wow! I was really impressed.
