I took my son, age 16, on a father/son dive trip. It was his second ocean dive trip so he is a beginner. Aldora Divers were excellent. The first day they took the two of us with our own dive master. Never took us out with a group larger than six divers. They allowed the divers to choose the dive sites consistent with the group's experience. We gave them our equipment the first day and they took care of it the entire trip. Each morning it was there, in the boat, ready to go. The boats were fast and got us to the dive sites quickly. They used 120 steel tanks for plenty of underwater time. It was clear that most of the divers had dove with them before, so they get lots of return business. Villa Aldora, their own hotel for Aldora Divers only, was very comfortable and reasonable. The managers and entire staff could not have taken better care of us. When the shuttle dropped us off from the airport, we were greeted at the curb, taken to the dive shop, the grocery store to pick up some snacks and food, and the to exchange dollars for pesos. I would certainly use both the dive shop and hotel again. It was a great experience for both my son and I. |
