Comments This trip was a pleasure from booking online on the web site through the wonderful freindly service we recieved both from the Condo Manager (Sara) to the staff and owner of Aqua Safari (Bill). Kathy and I are relatively new divers with 20 and 38 dives under our belts. Twelve of which we logged on this trip. Our boat captain (Chylonga)and dive master (Miguel) did everything to make our dives as safe and enjoyable as possible. Currents were extremely fast several days and maybe more then we were prepared for but Miguel kept a very close eye to ensure we were safe and not swept away. Safe, quality and fun diving were these gentlemans top priority. The Plancar Caves were fabulous and by far the best dive we have had so far. Sea life was very abundant. We saw turtles, a nurse shark, eels, very large lobsters, crabs, sting rays, several large groupers,a toad fish, plate size angle fish, coral shrimp, the usual assortment of parrot fish and many species of small tropical fish. Our last dive was made very memorable by seven large playful bermuda grunts which stayed with us the whole dive. One actually attempted to bite one diver on the head. We also did our first night dive with Aqua Safari. I was a little on the nervous side but the dive was a awesome experience. The group on the boat was rather large but there were three dive masters and we were broken into three smaller groups which provided to work extremely well. During the night dive we saw many crabs, a octupus, several sharp tail eels, lobsters galore and a very large grouper. Our day trips were scheduled on the fast boat which only held eight divers and was very comfortable and friendly. Our condo was about a twenty minute walk from the dive shop our gear was taken to the dive shop. The condo was comfortable with a beautiful view. The condo had most anything you would want or need to enjoy your vacation. The only items we missed were a TV to keep up on the news around the world and a phone. We were afforded the opportunity to use the condo computer daily to check email if we chose to. There were 30 or so igaunas living on the lot next door that we enjoyed feeding on occasion. We took our gear to the shop the first day and it stayed there until we finished diving on Friday. The back of the shop had a rinse tank with shelves and a rack to hang gear on to drip dry. It was a short walk accross the street to the dock to board the boat. Over all this was a fabulous trip the price was very decent and Aqua Safari allowed us to adjust our dives to accomadate our vacation time. We will be returning to Cozumel and diving with Aqua Safari again. Thanks for a wonderful dive vacation and honeymoon.
