Comments Aqua Safari picks us up at the El Cid La Ceiba dock and we go far south with 3 cylinders each; then work our way back by late afternoon. La Ceiba to us is like going to our dive home. All services by Hotel and Aqua safari are first class. Be aware the cruise ship piers are right out front. Some like that; some do not.

Most of us find Cozumel to be good consistent diving over the long term due to currents but we do recently miss some smaller critters like red eyes in shrimps on night dives, not so many urchins, etc.. Macro marine life can be found if there is good scouting by all but it not as easy with a group & drift diving as in good places with moored boat diving.

I think this is 12th or more trip to Cozumel over the years; good friends, good diving, and we enjoy and are welcomed back at several regular favorite restaurant in town for evening meals.

UW Photo Comments Adequate on this particular boat, not high end like liveaboards. Crew very helpful with gear and even with simple scuba gear repairs. One crew was a Tech and rebuilt my SPG swivel when it started to leak; did it right too (Got a nice tip). Crew also (amazingly) searched for & recovered a dive computer dropped overboard by one of our group as we were all getting back on the boat. Very well-played.
