Comments The Moon Palace was pricey, but all inclusive. Snorkling was easy from the beach access at the hotel. Service was impecable and made our stay a worry free experience. In addition, Sea Turtle were hatching on the beach while we were there.
Aquaworld has huge facilities. And if you do not speak spanish, they have more than enough resort personnel to support us english locked divers. The dive support staff were curteous, helpful, engaging, professional, and entertaining. Excellent predive instructions.
Not a lot of flexibility on this dive, but we were not looking for independence at this point. Many other tours for wreck diving, cave diving and other locations were available, but we were not prepared to investigate those at this time. Drift diving is the technique in the areas we explored (No Name reef) and it allowed for relaxing and viewing. Saw a mantaray, moray eel and a spiney lobster, in addition to a huge variety of fish.
We definitely will return to Aquaworld on the next trip to further our exploration of the Mexican reef.

Enforced diving restrictions This was a very structured dive. Depth limits were enforced related to the reef protection efforts currently in force. For us, as new divers and the first ocean experience, it was an excellent dive. I am sure for more experienced divers, it would have been boring.
