Comments The reefs at riviera maya leave somthing to be desired. there is a definite lack of colors but the turtles are everywhere. Some divers in our party seen a 2.5 to 3 meter hammerhead shark on one of the reef dives. The cenote dives were almost beyond belief. be sure to bring a good uw light with you. Bahia divers are very knowledgable at this style of diving. I would reccomend a 3 mil fullsuit if you plan to dive the cenotes.
On cozumel we dove with desportes aquaticos. the 2 reefs we visited show new growth on the corals already. Columbia Deep & Cedral. On cedral I encountered a splendid toadfish which is always a perfect ending for my day. A BIG HATS OFF to Sergio Sandoval & Cha Cha for making this one of my better trips to CZM.
The staff at Bahia Divers were fantastic also. Hope to go back to there soon.
PS You have to try the non alcoholic mango daquires at the pool bar!!
