Comments My wife and I have been diving at Blue Angel for years. My first review of Blue Angle indicated that it was not a good place for novice or beginning divers. Thankfully this changed. We shared a boat with a young couple of new divers. They shared the boat with several experienced divers.

Blue Angel gave them their own dive master for their first couple dives. You can still reserve your own boat if you have enough divers or are willing to pay a little extra to compensate them for the missing divers.

Blue angel has three small and one large boat. If you are a very experienced diver try to get on the 8:00 AM boat.

Under the water I am pleased to say that Cozumel is the first place I've seen lion fish numbers drastically reduced. I personally saw a lobster gobble down a lion fish after grabbing it with his claws.

Above the water prices are rising around the island. If you haven't been to the island in awhile get ready to pay more for food and lodging. It's still a great deal, but some people get very grumpy about how cheap it used to be.

It's worth learning about restaurants away from the main drag for less expensive food.
