Comments I have to say over all my experience was pretty good. I did get a pair of shoes stolen from my room. I guess they needed the shoes more than I did. The owners reimbursed me for the cost of the shoes. Hot water was all or nothing, we managed. Rooms were large and comfortable and very convenient for diving. In spite of the misfortune I will stay there in the future. The good out weighed the bad.
Blue Angel was good to dive with if you are an independent diver. Choose one of the more safety oriented dive masters.
I found one dive master to be a bit offensive, he criticized peoples equipment, their personality traits, their body types, their race, just about everything. I didn't like that at all. He is also the one who hung the dive computer over the side of the boat to run down the timer.
Dont let this keep you from using the facility or the dive op, I think every place has their ups and downs. I just wanted to be very honest about the services provided so others could make an informed decision.
If you are looking for inexpensive, clean, convenient, quiet, friendly, and helpful place this is it.
The restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch. Good food, and conveniently located above the dive shop.
FYI... you cant book this hotel with a flight package, however you can book into another hotel with a flight package for 1-2 days then relocate to this hotel with a dive/lodging package to save hundreds of dollars.
