Comments Simone Rossini and Careyitos Advanced Divers are the best! We would book again with them tomorrow!

The website was down (and I think still is) and I had to call once we were local to book our dive trip. (I believe the new site will be careyitosadvanceddivers.com but doesn't seem to be active yet.) And I'm so glad I did. The boat goes out of the Caleta Harbor on a so called "slow" boat. But I will take a comfortable boat with shade below and a sun deck above, awesome food for a real lunch and a "head" on board any day!

They provided just the right environment for a couple days of diving on a short getaway to the Yucatan. He and his crew made everything easy. Simone (owner and dive master) is very laid back, but assesses your skill level and watches to make sure you are comfortable.

We had a small group on board and another dive master Tony. It was clearly a group of people who knew each other and who had been diving with Simone and Tony over the years. Everyone was a strong diver and we were able to dive our own profiles. When one person wanted to surface, Simone would watch to see that that person was up and safely on board. The combination of the crew and other divers made for relaxing and fun days.

Simone was a great guide to the reefs and their inhabitants. Over the two days we saw beautiful corals, small fish and big pelagics.

Gaspar and Miguel(?) provided assistance suiting up, entering, and the boat was captained by Jose. Gaspar made an awesome lunch each day consisting of sandwich fixings, guacamole, local fruit such as papaya and mango and more.

I only wish we could actually go back diving with them again tomorrow!
