Comments	We regularly dive with Deep Exposure Dive Center in Cozumel, and you guys have written about them in the past. There are six of us, so we charter one of their two boats for a week each year. At the end of the second day of last-week’s trip, our boat had an issue with one of its two engines, taking it out of service for the rest of the week. There was some talk about maybe operating it using just the one engine, but I was told that Lupita (the owner) said “absolutely not.” Instead, they rented a larger boat than we had from a third party for the rest of the week. Boat rentals aren’t my area of expertise, but I suspect that they paid more for the rental of the boat (along with its captain and mate) than we were paying for our charter, and they still supplied the rest of the crew that we always have (Roger, dive guide extraordinaire, and Pancho, their excellent mate). At a time when Covid just cost these guys months and months of business, they chose the safety of two engines over the cost savings of operating in some lesser fashion, and by doing so they went well out of their way to provide the same excellent experience we’ve had for years. I can’t recommend these guys highly enough; they’re really exceptional at all aspects of the service they provide.
