Comments This was our second time diving with Dive House and staying at Secrets Aura. The reasons for visiting and diving with same dive shop was because we like the set up. The dive shop is at the resort next door and they pick you up at the Secrets pier. We also asked them on our last day of diving if they could bring our gear the next morning, for a tip and they did. Before leaving, I emailed them to reserve our spots on the boat and they were very good with correspondence, even while there at the resort. Our favorite dive masters are David and Victor. Both dive masters are very good at finding marine life and always seemed to keep an eye out for the divers. I did have a negative experience with Raul, a dive master, he took us out a couple of days and on one of those days I got his attention to let him know that my tank was leaking, he shrugged it off and said that “I will be fine”. One of the helpers on the boat said he could hear it and that “we” should change out the O ring, Raul had said “no” and the two went back and forth. Lucky, I understand Spanish and was chiming in the conversation, in the end it got changed. We also felt that in our last dive Raul was rushing us at the end of our last dive, some of the divers came up with 1000-900psi. Overall, I like the dive operation, the fills were always 3000psi and the boats are nice.

Secrets is a nice hotel and with very friendly staff. The food was marginal and I didn’t get sick, so that’s a win! The margaritas are the best I’ve had in Mexico
