Comments [None]This was my second trip with this operation. Crew and divemasters were knowledgable and very helpful. Most trips had two dive masters on each boat and two sailors to assist with gearing up and to help with getting in and out of the water. Dive breifings were very complete and the instructions were clear. Divemasters were very familiar with the reefs and points of interrest that captured everyones full attention. Sea Horses, large groupers and lobsters. We even saw a sordfish one afternoon when we returned to our dive boat. Divers can vote on reefs they wish to visit. These boats are fairly slow so don't expect to visit far away reefs unless you elect to pay additional for their smaller "fast boats". These "fast boats" cost a few dollors more and the reefs aren't any better than the closer reefs. If you want to visit "Punta Sur" and the "Devil's Throat" and you are near San Miguel you will need to hire a "fast boat". Apple runs this operation and she is friendly and helpful. We have never had any problems with reservations and boats are on time. They pick you up at your resort or at a prearranged location if you are not on the water. On the last day of our trip my wife had problems clearing her ear, as we later discovered she had a inner ear infection, and the second divemaster buddied up with me so I could finish my dives for the day. Apple's operation puts safety first and follows proper dive procedures. The prices are very fair. After checking the internet I found that Cozumel can compete with any other dive location for quality of the dive and beat most them with respect of cost per dive. I will return again next year and maybe hire a "fast boat" and visit the "Devil's Throat". The best deals run from April 16 through December 15.
