Comments Four divers, varying experience
From arrival to departure the experience was excellent. We dove 6 two-tank mornings, plus one two-tank afternoon and one night dive. Administration was efficient, the inboard diesel-engine boats are open and fast, with the only cover under the flying bridge, but clean and spacious for the maximum of 8 divers that they booked. The equipment was good.

The Divemasters managed trouble-free dives, setting up equipment if needed, and providing thorough briefings for each dive site. Because each was a drift-dive, entry needed to be well-orchestrated and they were. The boat Captain assisted and passed cameras in on request.

Once, while part way through a fast drift dive, one diver needed to surface -- our boat was immediately alongside to assist and the drift continued for the remaining divers.

Diving: every dive was great, with excellent visibility and lots reef life including turtles, shark, eagle ray, lobster and barracuda. Many large crabs were moving at night, as were small octopus. Divemasters took the time to point out small critters, one even using a magnifying glass to help us see the tiniest white nudibranch on an expanse of white sand.

For the most part we were in the southern area around Palancar (due to the hotel location of some divers) but repeated dive sites only twice. All-in-all this was an excellent introduction to diving Cozumel, and Dive with Martin earned a strong recommendation.

UW Photo Comments With most diving in a moderate to strong current, with an assembled group of divers, there was little time to focus on any particular subject. That said, sunshine, aquarium-clear water and plentiful reef-life provided great opportunity.
