Comments Liquid Blue Divers was started by Roberto and Michelle at the end of 2002 and has already established a reputation for quality service with all the personal touches that make diving in Cozumel easy. They have a very confortable boat set up to cater to groups of 6 - 8 max and one of the best boat captains (Juan Carlos)on the island. Roberto (used to dive with Aldora) is very accomodating and with the proper group experience level will entertain just about any dive site requests. Safety is paramount with LBD and Roberto is adamant about multi-level safety stops, especially after aggresive dive profiles (the Sur sites and any dives of unusual duration). LBD has recently added steel tanks which greatly enhances dive site selection and bottom time (especially for the air hogs!!). I've dived with LBD during my last 4 trips this year and consider them the best the island has to offer. A good back up if they are booked solid (as they often are) is Christie with Blue XT Sea Diving.
